Final Delivery

That’s Andres Martin-Vers, he and his brother, Alejandro, own Patagonia Campers. He’s preparing the camper tie-downs, state-of-the-art tension hooks. I spent the day with these guys learning how to rig the camper, unload and load it onto the truck and getting checked out on every possible feature.  Lynnette spent the day with Florencia, taking walks and coffee. It would have killed her to be hanging around the dealership for several hours.

After pulling the rig out of the shop, photos in the blazing mid-day sun and final check, I let Augie take the first turn at the wheel. I wasn’t going to start driving in Argentina by way of heavy Buenos Aires traffic driving an oversized camper rig.

The rig is parked outside and loaded. I’m taking first turn of the wheel tomorrow as we head to Entré Rios Provence and Los Ombues Lodge. We leave at 7 o’clock Sunday morning.

Buenos Aires should still be Sleeping
